Clubs and Programs
The following is a list of programs that we offer. For more detailed information, click on the program's name to download the word document with all the details. Check back regularly, as this page is updated with new programs on a regular basis.
If you do not wish to pay by debit or credit card, please contact Debbie at debbie@kidsahead.net or 609-654-KIDS (5437) to arrange an alternative payment method. Please be aware that our programs are small, so open spots tend to sell out fast.

All programs take place at our main office/Center for Development at 6 North Main St., Medford NJ unless otherwise specified.
All of our programs are tailored for children with autism, Asperger's, PDD/NOS and related disorders.
All programs require pre-registration. Registration forms can be found HERE (doc) or HERE (pdf). Payment instructions do not apply to those paying through PayPal (payment still needs to be recieved prior to registration, however).
Desserts with Santa
Ages: All ages welcome
Time: 6:30-8:30PM
Date: 12/3
Cost: $20 per family
Join us for a very Merry get together. Photos with Santa, desserts and simple holiday crafts.
Parents' Night Out to Shop
Ages: 4 and up
Time: 6:00-9:30PM
Date: 11/19
Cost: $35 per child, $60 for two children
Need to get going on that holiday shopping? We are offering a great opportunity for you to get out and GET IT DONE (or at least put a good dent in it)! Or, go enjoy a rare dinner out with your spouse and/or friends. Specifically for parents of special needs children, this one-time program will allow you to drop off your child in a fun and highly supervised environment. Our RDI Program Certified Consultants and support staff will deliver a variety of fun activities for the kids including simple crafts, snacks, pizza, holiday movies, and more. If your child is on a gluten free or other specific diet, you are welcome to send their snacks and even a meal.

Fall Craft Club
Ages: 5-12 years old
Time: 9-10:30AM
Dates: 9/11, 9/23, 10/9, 10/23, 11/6, 11/20
Cost: $225.00 for all 6 sessions
The objective of this program is to offer children with special needs a positive and fun experience. Highly trained professionals will guide the group and activities will be developmentally framed for your child. Essential areas like problem solving, initiation, and co-regulation will be encouraged.
Cooking Club for Children and Pre-teens
Ages: 6-12 years old
Time: 4:30-6:00PM
Cost: $150 per 4 week session
Location: Quaker Meeting House, 14 Union St., Medford, NJ 08055
Our Cooking Club program will offer a hands-on experience where you'll learn and have fun in the kitchen. Each session offers new recipes for you to prepare and taste.
Dates: 10/18, 10/25, 11/1, 11/8
Cooking Club for Teens
Ages: 12 years and up
Time: 5:30-7:00 PM
Cost: $150.00 per 4 week session
Location: Quaker Meeting House, 14 Union St., Medford, NJ 08055
This is a version of our Cooking Club for teenagers.
Dates: 10/20, 10/27, 11/3, 11/10
Winter Craft Club
Ages: 5-12 (some age exceptions may apply, please call to confirm)
Time: 9:00-10:30AM
Cost: $210 for all 6 sessions
Our mission for this 6 session program is to offer children (ages 5-12) with Autism, Asperger's, PDD/NOS, and related disorders a positive and fun experience. Highly trained professionals will guide the group and activities will be developmentally "framed" for your child. Essential areas like problem solving, initiation, co-regulation, and flexible thinking will all be encouraged. The children will be making simple and adorable crafts to take home. Opportunities for peer interactions will abound!
